Soloist Price Range $250 – $500

The best choice for a solo jazz performer is piano/keyboard or guitar.  For shorter performance times it is possible to provide other instruments i.e. sax, violin or even string bass.  Our standard repertoire is extensive and includes swing, be bop latin and contemporary tunes.

 

 Dueling Guitar Duo  $500 –  $1000

The strongest duo is a two guitars, “dueling guitars.” Because each player can both solo and accompany, you always have the benefit of two players.  Other duo combinations include any type of horn and guitar,  string bass and piano  sax and keyboard.

Jazz Trio  

$600 – $1050

Typically a jazz trio includes two essential elements. One a chordal instrument usually guitar or piano/keyboard and two a bass.  The third instrument can be just about anything  – sax, horn, violin, drums or guitar

 

Jazz Quartet $800 – $1400

A jazz quartet usually includes drums.  This makes the standard repertoire ore exciting and danceable

Hot Jazz of the 20’s

This group consists of two guitars, string bass and violin.  It is reminiscent of the hot jazz sound popular in 1920’s Paris. The two most famous artists of this period are violinist Stephane Grappelli and the gypsy jazz guitarist Django Reinhardt.
